Reviews and Ratings <br />
The park has a nostalgic summer camp vibe that's quite appealing, but it really needs some serious maintenance. While the bathrooms are clean and have their own charm, the overall conditions of many areas are disappointing. The site selection is limited due to the high number of permanent residents, and your privacy can be compromised, especially if you're squeezed in next to someone. It's a mixed bag of potential and neglected amenities.
The campground has a friendly vibe with nice amenities, but it suffers from tight sites and a noisy party atmosphere, especially on weekends. The roads are narrow and not well-maintained, making it difficult to navigate. However, the great staff and recreational activities can make your stay enjoyable if you're prepared for the challenges.
Our stay at the campground was filled with both great experiences and some challenges. We were greeted by friendly staff who went out of their way to help us when we arrived late, and the amenities like the pools and recreational activities kept my kids entertained. However, the site we were on was quite unlevel, and the roads in the park were narrow, making it difficult to navigate with our larger camper.
My stay at this campground was quite an experience, but unfortunately, it was more frustrating than enjoyable. While the pool area was great with lots of space for kids, I faced numerous issues with the power and water supply, which significantly impacted my overall experience. The tight camping sites and lack of proper service left much to be desired, so I wouldn't recommend it for a relaxing getaway.
Lake Myers RV and Camping Resort offers a unique experience with a warm and friendly community. While the park could use some updates, the hospitality from Fred and Diane significantly enhanced our stay. The roads are in rough shape and some amenities are not functioning, but the welcoming atmosphere makes it worth it for travelers looking for a family-friendly vibe. Overall, it's a place we plan to return to, despite the drawbacks.
